The Holy Land (mp3)

The Holy Land, the Holy Land
How I love the Holy Land
Where God came down as a man
How I love the Holy Land

The Holy Land, the Holy Land
How I love the Holy Land
Where God came down as a man
How I love the Holy Land

The Holy Land is the place
He came to save the human race
And He's coming back again
Right back to the Holy Land

The Holy Land, the Holy Land
How I love the Holy Land
Where God came down as a man
How I love the Holy Land

The Holy Land is so nice
That's where Jesus paid the price
Where Jesus died for you and me
To save our soul and set us Free

The Holy Land, the Holy Land
How I love the Holy Land
Where God came down as a man
How I love the Holy Land

FLOYD: Charlie, here we are visitin' the Holy Land, isn't this exciting?
CHARLIE: I'm scared!
FLOYD: Well, what are you araid of?
CHARLIE: That funny looking horse with a bump
FLOYD: That's not a horse with a bump, it's a camel with a Hump.  Now you and Huey and Stanley climb on and let's go, OK?

High Up on the Hump of a Camel

Riding on the hump of a camel
A clop, clop, cloping through the sand
High up on the hump of a camel
A-travelin' through the Holy Land

Riding on the hump of a camel
Just like way back in the past
Do you think I'll get a speeding ticket
From riding this camel so fast

Riding on the hump of a camel (ha ha ha)
I'm a little scared, don't you know
I'd just hate to think what might happen
If this big ol' camel stumps his toe

Riding on the hump of a camel
A clop, clop, cloping through the sand
High up on the hump of a camel
A-travelin' through the Holy Land
A-travelin' through the Holy Land
A-travelin' through the Holy Land

Banter

FLOYD: Well, Charlie, here we are at the Sea of Galilee.
CHARLIE: Can we go swimming?
FLOYD: Not now, Charlie, maybe later.

The Sea of Galilee

On the Sea of Galilee, the Sea of Galilee
A lesson taught for you and me
When Jesus calmed the angry sea
On the Sea of Galilee

On the Sea of Galilee, the Sea of Galilee
From the boat he taught the disciples there
A message for mankind to hear
On the sea of Galilee

On the Sea of Galilee, the Sea of Galilee
When Jesus walked on the water there
The disciples just stood there and stared
On the Sea of Galilee

On the Sea of Galilee, the Sea of Galilee
Where Jesus said 'come and follow me
'Now you'll fish for men, you'll see'
On the Sea of Galilee.

Banter

FLOYD: How do you like ridin't the camel, Charlie
CHARLIE: What if he stumps his toe?
FLOYD: Aw, Charlie, he's not gonna stump his toe.  Now let's continue our journey and praise the Lord!
CHARLIE: Praise the Lord!

Praise The Lord

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Praise the Lord with me

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Praise the Lord with me

That's right
Ha ha ha

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Praise the Lord with me

Praise the Lord

Banter

FLOYD: Hey, fellas, look at the shepherd and his flock of sheep!  Who does that make you think of, Charlie?
CHARLIE: That's easy!  Jesus!

My Shepherd's Watching Over Me

My shepherd's watching over me
So there's not one thing to fear (that's right)
I'm not afraid of anything, as long as He is near (me, too)
So I'll graze in the green pastures, contented as can be
With not a worry in the world
'Cause my shepherd's watching over me

Even in the dark of night
When howling winds just blow
And the lion is out stalking and the wolf is howling so
You'd think that I would worry, so much danger out, you see
But I've not a worry in the world
'Cause my shepherd's watching over me

Banter

CHARLIE: Hey, guys!  Look at the water!  Let's go fishing!
FLOYD:  Aw, fellas, hamsters don't fish.  Let's just sing about this River Jordan.

The River Jordan

Jesus was baptized by John on that day
In the River Jordan so far away
Baptize Him with water, baptize Him with love
As the Spirit came down in the form of a dove

And the heavens open to everyone
God said 'this is My beloved Son
'In whom I am so very well pleased'
Then they all prayed as they fell to their knees

If the Jordan River could talk, it would say
'I saw the Son of God today
'Baptise him with water, baptise him with love
'And the Spirit came down in the form of a dove'

Jesus was baptized by John on that day
In the River Jordan so far away
Baptize Him with water, baptize Him with love
As the spirit came down in the form of a dove

Banter

FLOYD: Well, fellas, we're finally here, the town where Jesus was born.
CHARLIE, STANLEY & HUEY: Bethlehem!

Oh Bethlehem

Oh, Bethlehem, far across the sea
You mean so very much to me
Oh, Bethlehem, I'll always sing
In Bethlehem, was born the King

Oh, Bethlehem, you'll always be
A blessed land of love to me
'Cause Jesus walked upon your sod
The very, very Son of God

Oh, Bethlehem, I love you so
Oh, Bethlehem, because I know
Jesus was born the great I Am
That's why I love oh, Bethlehem
Oh, Bethlehem, oh, Bethlehem

Banter

CHARLIE: Hey!  Look at the horse's house!
FLOYD: Charlie, that's not a horse's house, that's a stable, like where Jesus was born.
CHARLIE: A Stable?

The Stable

They couldn't find a room for baby Jesus to be born
So they put him in a stable on that early morn
You'd think that He would be afraid with all the animals there
With the angels watching over him, baby Jesus didn't care

With a billy goat, cow and a chicken too
And a horse and a cock-a-doodle-doo
With ducks and cats and animals there
And all of the barnyard creatures there
With frogs and squirrels and chipmunks too
And a bull, and a horse, and a landlord, too
The baby Jesus didn't care, 'cause he had a host of angels there

Then the wise men came to see such wonders to behold
Then they gave him gifts of myrrh and frankincense and gold
When they left to tell the world the wonders they had seen
They had found him in a stable Jesus Christ the King

With a billy goat, cow and a chicken too
And a horse and a cock-a-doodle-doo
With ducks and cats and animals there
And all of the barnyard creatures there
With frogs and squirrels and chipmunks too
And a bull, and a horse, and a landlord, too
The baby Jesus didn't care, 'cause he had a host of angels there

Banter

FLOYD: Hey, fellas, where's Charlie?
STANLEY & HUEY: Charlie?  Why, he's in the carpenter shop.
FLOYD: Charlie, will you put the hammer down?

The Carpenter Shop

The carpenter shop, the carpenter show
With a bang bing bam and a bing bang pop
The work just never seems to stop
The work goes on in the carpenter shop

Jesus worked and worked all day
In the carpenter shop so far away
Hammering and sawing at the bottom and top
The work goes on in the carpenter shop

The carpenter shop, the carpenter show
With a bang bing bam and a bing bang pop
The work just never seems to stop
The work goes on in the carpenter shop

Jesus was a builder indeed
Building things for people's needs
Where the work just never seems to stop
The work goes on in the carpenter shop

The carpenter shop, the carpenter show
With a bang bing bam and a bing bang pop
The work just never seems to stop
The work goes on in the carpenter shop

Banter

CHARLIE:  Whooee!  What a big building!
FLOYD: That big building is a temple, Charlie.

The Temple

Jesus taught in the Temple
The Temple that stood on the sod
Jesus taught in the Temple
he taught the words of God

Jesus Prayed in the Temple
Prayed to His Father above
His prayers were heard in the Temple
Becasue of His Father's great Love

He drove the money-changers out of the temple
With a whip He made them all leave
He said 'my Father's house will not be
'A den for murderers and thieves'

The temple was holy to Jesus
A place for fasting and prayer
Jesus loved the Temple because his Father was there
Because his Father was there, because his Father was there
