Is Charlie the Hamster sacreligious?

No!  While a cartoon hamster does not have free will and thus cannot be saved, nothing prevents the Holy Spirit from working through a rodent.  There is nothing false or misleading in any of Charlie’s music.  The catchy tunes are consistently positive, providing a refreshing alternative to the rebellious and sexually suggestive music of today’s secular rodent artists (e.g. the Chipmunks, the Spice Squirrels, Hampton Hampster, etc.).


Who is Floyd Robinson?

Floyd Robinson, the inventor of Charlie the Hamster, is a professional guitar player and singer. He has played with stars like Jim Ed Brown, Little Jimmy Dickens, George Jones, “White Lightnin’” George Morgan, Eddie Arnold and Jim Reaves from Nashville, Tennessee. Floyd’s biggest hit, “Makin’ Love,” peaked at #20 on the Billboard Pop Chart in 1959.  For more information, see the White Paper.


Is Floyd Robinson still alive?

Yes!  Alive and well, by the grace of God!


What is the relationship between Charlie the Hamster and Floyd Robinson?

Most people assume incorrectly that Charlie the Hamster is a ward of Floyd Robinson (as Alvin the Chipmunk is a ward of David Seville).  Charlie and Floyd were musical collaborators and partners in ministry.  Floyd was a mentor to Charlie, not a guardian.  Floyd, being a man, has dominion over Charlie, an animal.


What are the names of Charlie the Hamster's cousins?

Huey and Stanley.


Are there talking animals in the Bible?

Yes. See Numbers 22:30. "And the ass said unto Balaam, 'Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? Was I ever wont to do so unto thee?' and he said, 'Nay.'"


Where may I purchase Charlie the Hamster music?

Unfortunately, Charlie the Hamster’s entire catalog is out-of-print.  Used record shops, thrift stores, online auctions and Internet archives are the only sources for obtaining this wonderful soul-saving music.
